This first session will provide insight and tools for successful and effective delegation of duties to team members. Participants will become familiar with methods for successful monitoring and verifying of delegated duties.
Those in attendance will be able to:
1. Identify the key duties for LTC department supervisors.
2. Discuss strategies for effective delegation of department duties.
3. Become familiar with methods for successful monitoring and verifying of delegated duties.

May 22 - Constructing Effective Meetings
This second session will provide strategies and techniques for planning effective and efficient team meetings. The presenter will discuss strategies for successful meeting planning, oversight, and conclusion.
Those in attendance will be able to:
1. Identify the key team meetings for LTC departments.
2. Discuss strategies for successful meeting planning, oversight and conclusion.
3. Become familiar with methods for effective meeting agendas.

May 29 - Building Successful Survey Processes
In week three we will provide strategies and techniques for achieving a successful survey process and maintaining survey readiness. This course will examine tactics for maintaining survey readiness in each department.
Those in attendance will be able to:
1. Identify key department components for building a successful survey.
2. Discuss strategies for active department involvement in the survey process.
3. Become familiar with methods for maintaining survey readiness.

June 5 - Blueprint for Great Customer Service
The final session will provide strategies and techniques for providing great customer service in all departments. Discover strategies for active department involvement in great customer service.
Those in attendance will be able to:
1. Identify key department components for great customer service.
2. Discuss strategies for active department involvement in great customer service.
3. Become familiar with methods for department training on great customer service.

Speaker:
Janine Lehman, RN, RAC-CT, CLNC Director of Legal Nurse Consulting
Janine is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience in long term care, working in all nursing capacities from Nursing Assistant and Charge Nurse, to MDS Coordinator, Staff Development Coordinator, ADON and DON. She is MDS Certified through AAPACN, and is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. Her background includes serving as a Corporate Nurse Consultant, and the Director of Clinical Services for a multi-facility, multi-level of care organization. Janine serves as a founding member of the Kentucky RUG Task Force Committee, and has served on the Case Mix Appeals Panel and IDR Panel as a provider representative, as well as serving on the Kentucky Medicaid Technical Advisory Committee. She has extensive experience in the RAI process, clinical documentation, legal nurse consulting, restorative nursing programs, fall management, QAPI, and infection control, and has provided training on these topics for State and National organizations.
