A Deep Dive Into Federal Regulations - 12 Month Webinar Series Over the course of 12 monthly sessions, this series will provide a deep dive into learning about the federal regulations for long term care facilities. Actual citation examples, strategies for successfully managing the survey process and understanding the critical element pathways used to guide surveyor investigations and implementing survey preparedness activities to prevent citations will be provided and discussed. JANUARY 10: §483.10 Resident Rights Requirements This session will provide an overview of the Resident Rights regulations at §483.10, with an emphasis on the review the most commonly cited Resident Rights Requirements. Strategies to avoid citations related to Resident Rights will be emphasized through discussion of: Actual citation examples, Strategies for successfully managing the survey process & understanding the critical element pathways used to guide surveyor investigations, & Implementing survey preparedness activities to prevent Resident Rights citations. Projected Learning Outcomes/Course Objectives: At the conclusion of each session, the learner will: 1. Identify the regulatory requirements related to Resident Rights 2. Identify survey procedures that describe how Resident Rights requirements are reviewed for compliance during the annual survey process 3. Identify examples of how Resident Rights are commonly cited in the long-term care survey process 4.
