LiveWell and the North Central Area Agency on Aging are presenting this special training designed specifically for housing providers. As most people living with dementia reside in the community, housing providers may frequently encounter persons living with dementia and their care partners. This training will explore common scenarios encountered by housing providers and will provide opportunities to look at positive communication approaches.

This training will cover:
Signs and symptoms of dementia
Empathic communication strategies
Community supports for persons living with dementia and care partners
Training will be offered at no cost to LeadingAge Connecticut Provider Members and Subscribers.
