As we review our current reality, it's clear that "business as usual" will never be "usual" again. COVID-19 has changed our reality in significant ways. Our Infection Prevention and Control Program will need to become part of our daily workflow in a way we haven't seen before. Managing and mitigating the stress our healthcare workers face now, and in the future will change how we support our staff and residents. Providing compassionate care to our residents, while addressing the reality of COVID-19 (and other pathogens) will change the look and feel of our care delivery. We know we can't isolate our nursing home populations indefinitely and that will require innovative plans to provide that interpersonal connection again. Safely.

About the Speaker: Pam Campbell's career spans more than 25 years in post-acute care. Throughout her career, she has held a number of positions ranging from clinician to Director of Nursing in both free standing as well as hospital-based skilled nursing facilities. She has served as a consultant in long-term care for hospital systems as well as clinical consultant and software designer for MDS Software vendors including SNF, Assisted Living and Infection Control. Pam is currently the Market Insights Specialist for PointClickCare.
