Topics will include department-specific considerations for infection control, survey preparedness, role in meetings, IDT systems integration, MDS supportive documentation, care planning, driving QMs, employee satisfaction and customer services.

Administrators interested in this webinar series can register for either the 4-Part series that is tailored for them or register for the 8-Part series that includes the specific sessions for each department head. Both options will include sessions 6-8, which cover strategies for avoiding common deficiencies, improving performance, conducting quality assurance activities, team building, running productive meetings, and enhancing customer service.

4-Part Series: This option focuses specifically on skill-building for Long-Term Care Department Head Administrators (session 5) and the leadership, operations, and systems-focused sessions 6-8.
8-Part Series: This more comprehensive option includes content for all LTC departments, such as Directors of Nursing (DON), Recreation & Social Services, Dining Services, Housekeeping & Maintenance, and Administrators. It also includes the leadership, operations, and systems-focused sessions 6-8.
