Revisions to Federal and State programs mean SNF Interdisciplinary teams will be managing many changes as they roll into effect beginning this fall. Join us to learn what’s new, what’s changing, and what could be ahead for Connecticut!

Who Should Attend: MDS Coordinators, DON, Administrators, Nursing Leadership, Rehab, Billing, QA/QAPI team members

Updates detailed in the FY 2025 Final Rule were extensive, impacting reimbursement, nursing home enforcement policies, and SNF quality programs. Further, the new MDS 3.0 (version 1.19.1) includes coding changes since last year’s major overhaul. Attendees will examine changes planned for October 1st.

Select Five-Star Quality Measures remain frozen until January 2025, however, there are opportunities to manage data now to get ahead next year. Additionally, Connecticut’s Medicaid Quality Payment Program is expected to go into effect soon and will have a direct impact on SNF Medicaid rates. The presenter will discuss strategies SNFs can use now for optimal outcomes in the future.
