The Society for Post-acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (formerly AMDA) offers a certification program for long-term care medical directors, detailed explanations of nursing home quality measures for consumers, and continuing education for medical directors and attending physicians.

New England Quality Innovation Network- Quality Improvement Organization (NE QIN-QIO)

Beginning August 1, 2014, Livanta, the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO), will conduct all beneficiary quality review cases, appeals and complaints in Connecticut.
