COVID-19 has tested the leadersh
ip of aging services organizations like nothing before. CEOs have been requ
ired to take on challenges that they never imagined. From revamping their e
ntire operations to protect the basic health and safety of their residents
and staff, to worrying about the financial health of their organization, it
has been an unprecedented time. These challenges were only compounded with
ever changing and sometimes conflicting guidance from both state and feder
al agencies.
During this
session, Keith Robertson will lead a discussion with a group of aging servi
ces CEOs to understand how they managed through the crisis in conjunction w
ith their staff, Board, and residents, and what lessons they have learned i
n preparing for another surge and a changing future.
