Aging services organizations have always adapted to changing demographics, workforce pressures, regulatory shifts, consumer expectations, and new models of care and housing. AI is now part of that change.

This retreat is not about becoming an AI expert.
It is about creating time and space for senior leaders to step away from day-to-day demands and think strategically about what emerging technologies mean for their organizations, their workforce, and the people they serve.

Together, we will examine what it means to be an early adopter, how leaders can foster a culture of innovation and learning, and how aging services organizations can move from observing technological change to actively participating in shaping it.

Katherine Kim is an Assistant Professor at UC Davis, Program Director of Health Innovation Research at the Center for Health and Technology, and Senior Scientist for Health at CITRIS, the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society.
