Series Summary
This year-long virtual series is designed to equip LTC leaders, clinicians, and staff with the knowledge and skills needed to stay compliant, improve quality outcomes, and strengthen survey readiness. Each monthly session focuses on a critical area of LTC operational or clinical risk, blending regulatory guidance with practical strategies for implementation of corrective actions. Participants will gain actionable insights and tools to enhance facility performance, survey readiness, and risk mitigation.

January 13 - Regulatory Updates and Compliance Trends Impacting Facilities in the New Year
Gain practical strategies to maintain compliance and proactively prepare for surveys throughout the year.

February 10 - Infection Control: Emerging Issues & Survey Readiness
Review current regulations, identify risk areas, and implement strategies to reduce infections and prepare for inspections.

Learn how to identify documentation gaps and implement improvement strategies.

April 14 - Fall Prevention: Data Driven Interventions
Improve implementation of targeted interventions to reduce falls and falls with major injury and gain key insights into effectively monitoring outcomes.

May 12 - Pressure Ulcer/Injury Management & Prevention Strategies
Explore how to learn to identify risk factors, implement preventive strategies, and improve resident outcomes.

June 9 - Person Centered Care: Enhancing Resident Quality of Life
Review proven strategies to personalize care and enhance resident engagement.

July 14 - Emergency Preparedness & Facility Wide Safety Drills
Dive into the critical components of Emergency Preparedness that are scrutinized during the survey process.

August 11 - Medication Management & Adverse Drug Event Prevention
